Hawkins' friend replied, "Don't listen to him, Black Mambas lie!"
After which, Doc Hawkins whaled in great laughter.
Facts about Black Mambas:
They are the fastest most deadly snakes in the world.
They can slither after you at 10-12 mph
They can grow up to 14 feet
A single bite can inject enough venom to kill 10 to 25 men.
My husband and I call our egos-- Black Mambas.
I asked myself, why would anyone want to keep a deadly snake in their home? Then I remembered our egos. We will do anything if we have a strong 'belief' behind it, even if this belief does not serve us. All beliefs create the experience we have. If there is something in our life we don't like, then we can do "Mind Work" to change it. Write down "all your core beliefs" and then label them as limiting or liberating.
When I did this experiment examining my beliefs, I found nearly all of them limiting at some level, which "Shocked me." It doesn't take much to rattle limiting beliefs loose, but is does takes more time to find the branches, which have grown from these, often not even seemingly related, but crazy off shoots!
Doc Hawkins said, to use the word "the" in front of the word "belief," so you don't identify with it as "you." " Most of our beliefs are second hand, passed down to us, and have not been explored by our core inner thoughts and emotions as to their validations. When studied they are clearly seen as "conflicting" beliefs, which create a physical standstill, in our reality.
Once we find a limiting belief, many more are revealed and rattled loose. I love that the idea of old beliefs "rattled loose." Each belief has many branches holding onto the same limiting belief. To explore this, search your mind for all your core beliefs, then ask if it's limiting? If it is, then it will need to be replaced by a "good belief." But, realize that it has branches, which will start to reveal themselves as each core belief is rattled and then removed.
According to the famous Dr. Bruce Hood, who wrote "The Self Illusion" the voice that listens to you is not your so called "soul" but an invention of your brain, using everything you have learned and been exposed or programed for. This is Good News! If you want a new voice in your head, do new things. The voice in our head, be it a black mamba or a Happy Person is up to us, all we have to do is replace fear with love, worry with letting go, and let go of every angry thought because if we don't the brain lights up the back which is from the "Animal Kingdom" and not the front which is the Pre-frontal Cortex, which only humans have, this area when lit up becomes a healthier brain, it's social, happy, and makes all the decisions. A healthy brain can think over the past and project into the future.
If you are angry all the time, this area of the brain is shut off, and like most harden criminals a angry brain is a brain with very little activity in the frontal cortex. Angry Brain vs. Happy Brain, you choose? If you choose to stay angry you loose, because your experience of the world will be more depressing, depression comes from lack of activity in the pre-frontal cortex. The more you allow yourself to be upset or angry the darker the spots on your brain get to the point of Alzheimer. After the patient with Alzheimer dies they often open the brain to study it. And guess what they found, many tiny signs of "Strokes" caused by stress, worrying, anger and diet. And they often find parasites!
Yes, that's right! The only thing that lives in sickness is parasites, cancer and disease. Disease is Diss-Ease. It is our responsibility to remain happy no matter what. A key is to say often, "I am determined not to worry".
My memoir "From Hollywood to God" is now on Amazon and Kindle books!
My first stop was to The World Sound Healing Conference in San Francisco. I wanted to understand the science of frequencies, especially if everything in the universe was vibrating to their own unique song! I waited in the large conference room to hear Dr. Susan Yale's lecture on the Harmonic Oscillator. The room went dark and three pyramids projected on a large movie screen.
"You can hear the sound of "nature" between the Pyramids of Giza," Dr. Yale said, pausing, "it's a perfect F Sharp." No one moved. She spoke slowly, "If you knew there was a place in the world where you could hear God, would you go?" I always wanted to swim in the Nile! ~ from my Memoir, (click link—"From Hollywood to God" Kelly Granite Enck on Amazon books and Kindle.
