How to Slow Down the Aging Process

Slow Down the Aging Process by Lengthening Your Telomeres, By Kelly Granite
As of 2009 a simple blood test can tell you if your at risk for Heart Disease, Cancer or Alzheimers, by looking at the ends of your chromosomes. These ends are caps which maintain the replication of your DNA, during the cellular reproduction and are called "telomeres." They are inside every cell in the nucleus, within the chromosomes. Think of the ends of shoe laces, which prevent the strings from coming unraveled.

The discovery of Telomeres and their relationship to aging, won the researchers a Nobel Price. Now, we have a precursor to visual see and work with to reverse aging, or face our demise. The shortening of our #telomeres is what causes our cells to age and our aging. But, the good news is we know some of the causes and can reverse aging by changing our lifestyle habits, which cause the telomeres to lengthen! What are some of the things that cause telomeres to shorten?
Unhealthy Diet, Chronic Stress, ObesityEnvironmental Toxins, Sleep Depravation, Lack of Social Encounters, one of the causes of Depression, Ruminating on negative events, and looking for Red, which is a fight or flight reaction to protecting the ego. All these events cause a biological reaction inside our cells, and the result is shorter telomeres.

Here are 7 Secrets to Growing Longer Telomeres, which will slow down the aging process of your cells and even lengthen your lifespan!

1. Avoid Sugar, this includes white flour. This will stop the wear on your cells as your insulin spikes from sweet treats.

2. Exercise daily, this will help you stay fit and your sweat releases toxins, which your body has accumulated throughout your lifetime.

3. Keep your weight down to normal, or on the thinner side, by reducing your calorie intake or by eating more live plant based foods or by juice fasting 2 days a week.

4. Avoid environmental toxins, like cleaners, disinfectants and dirty energy, like the invisible radiation coming from your cell phone "Cell phones emit radio frequency energy (radio waves), a form of non-ionizing radiation. Tissues nearest to where the phone is held can absorb this energy. Keep your cell phone a 3 inches away from your ear. Also, unplug all electricity at night near your bed. Keep your cell phone 6 feet away from your body, if you are using it as an alarm clock. (Oh, and wear wireless bras, or no bra. :)

Washing Produce, even Organic : I soak all my produce in a large bowl of distilled water with 1/4-1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar, depending on size of bowl or size of you sink. This should kill most germs, and contamination.  Let soak for 15-20 min. Then empty dirty water and rinse again in clean distilled water. I also rub all dirt off the produce with a scrub brush or my hands.

5. Stop All Stress, it soaks into your cells and changes them biologically, causes shorter telomeres! One such way is to join a community of people doing activities you love. Social events with family and friends release the worrying spinning from too much alone or ideal time on your hands. Stay busying creating, rather than pondering.

6. Drink or eat a pound of a variety of greens, including sea minerals like seaweed salad, or E3 Live, to add oxygen into your red blood cells. Drink a gallon of filtered or distilled water daily.

7. Omega 3, D3 and E, help to grow telomeres. D is from the sun. Make sure if you wear sunblock that it is safe, most sun blocks are toxic to the skin, causing a chemical reaction with the sun and the synthetic chemicals within them, which some doctors believe contribute to melanoma. One of my secrets after a walk in the sun or before I go to bed at night is to apply "cold pressed" hemp oil all over my face and skin!! This only cost 13 dollar in the cold section of the vitamins at WholeFoods stores.

8. Bonus Tip: Take a nap, go to sleep when you are tired. The human body is designed for biphasic sleeping, which is sleeping two times in a 24-hour period, which promotes cellular recovery.

Peek inside...

I went to The World Sound Healing Conference in San Francisco and heard a lecture on the Quantum Harmonic Oscillator— the sounds coming from everything in the universe. The room went dark and three pyramids projected on a large screen. "You can hear the sound of "nature" between the Pyramids of Giza," Dr. Susan Yale said pausing, "It's a perfect F Sharp." No one moved. She spoke slowly, "If you knew there was a place in the world where you could hear God would you go?"

On my way home I stopped in a coffee shop and sitting at a large wooden table reading was the most beautiful man I had ever seen.  I sat down next to him and within 10 minutes I had invited him to Giza.
